Stimuli, Trials and Sampling¶
Most tasks on Meadows involve stimuli: media or text objects that you want the participant to respond to or interact with. These are organized as a Stimulus Set. Here's the types of stimuli you can use:
- Images
.pngor.jpgfiles. - Audio
.wav,mp3or.flacfiles. - Video
.mp4or.ogvfiles. - Text stimuli words or sentences
For each task in your experiment, choose which stimuli to include in the Stimuli tab of the task. Here you can select a subset or customize the stimuli. The task logic then chooses how to divide the selected stimuli across trials (but some tasks may just consist of a single trial). If you want to override the trial sampling, you can use a Trial File.
